Every quote we send for a printing device includes:
- Purchase price
- Cost per mono page and per colour page, using genuine consumables
- Expected five-year running cost at your stated volume
- Duty cycle, so you know whether the device is being asked to work beyond its design
That is usually the first time a buyer has seen the two numbers side by side, and it often changes the decision. Sometimes upward, to a device that costs more and saves money.
Getting the scanning right
The half of a multifunction that never gets configured. Scan-to-email, scan-to-folder and scan-into-your-document-system are all set up at install if you want them, with the address book populated.
An expensive multifunction used only for printing is a large part of a budget doing a small part of a job.
