Stock you can trust across every branch, and numbers that arrive before the month ends

IT for Egyptian retailers and FMCG businesses — POS and ERP integration, multi-branch stock accuracy, branch networks and in-store hardware supply.

Retail & FMCG
  • Same dayBranch stock visible at head office
  • HoursStock count, down from days
  • Per SKUMargin visibility, not just per category

What we get called about

  • Head office and branches reporting different stock figures
  • Stock counts that take three days and are wrong by the end of them
  • POS and accounting reconciled by hand every month
  • A branch losing card payments when the internet drops
  • No visibility on which SKUs actually make money

What we put in place

  • POS and ERP as one system
  • Stock accuracy programme
  • Branch connectivity
  • In-store hardware
  • Loss prevention
The playbook

What that looks like in practice

  • POS and ERP as one system

Sales, stock movements and payments flowing into Odoo without a nightly export. Head office sees today, not last week.

  • Stock accuracy programme

Cycle counting, barcode discipline and variance reporting — the operational routine that makes the numbers true, not just the software that displays them.

  • Branch connectivity

Primary and backup links per branch with automatic failover, so a line fault does not stop trading.

  • In-store hardware

Terminals, scanners, receipt printers, label printers and cash drawers, standardised across branches so spares are interchangeable.

  • Loss prevention

Camera coverage at tills and back doors, tied to transaction data so a void or a refund can be reviewed against the footage.

Stock accuracy is a process problem wearing a software costume

Every retailer we meet who does not trust their stock figures has assumed new software will fix it. It will not, on its own.

What fixes it is a short list of operational habits:

  • Everything that moves gets scanned, including transfers between branches and goods going out as samples or wastage.
  • Cycle counting on a rolling schedule instead of one heroic annual count.
  • Variances investigated at the branch that produced them, the week they appear.
  • One person who owns the number.

Good software makes those habits cheap to maintain. It does not replace them, and we will say so before you sign.

Branch connectivity that keeps tills open

A branch that cannot take card payments is closed, whatever the sign says.

Two links per branch — usually a fixed line and a cellular backup — with automatic failover, so a cut cable becomes a slower afternoon rather than a lost day. The cost of the second link is smaller than one closed Saturday.

Standardise the hardware

One terminal model, one scanner, one receipt printer across every branch. Two spares of each on a shelf at head office.

A failed scanner then becomes a courier job, not a procurement cycle, and staff who move between branches already know the equipment.
