Who we are
SYSGOT is a technology company registered in Egypt, with its office at Office 13, Sinco 200 Mall, 10th of Ramadan City. When this policy says "we", it means SYSGOT. When it says "you", it means anyone using this website or contacting us through it.

What this website collects
What you send us. The contact, quote and newsletter forms collect only what you type into them: your name, email address, phone number, company name, and whatever you write in the message field. There are no hidden fields.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages people find useful. It records the pages visited, approximate location at city level, device type and referring site. We do not use it to identify individuals, and we do not sell or share it.
What we do not collect. No advertising trackers, no cross-site profiling, no session recording, no fingerprinting, and no third-party chat widget loading scripts from someone else's servers.
What a page does load from elsewhere. Google Analytics, on every page, from
googletagmanager.com and google-analytics.com. Nothing else loads by
default — the map on our contact page stays behind a button, so its tiles are
requested only if you press it, and if you never do, your browser never contacts
the map provider at all.
Why we hold it
- To answer you. A form submission is emailed to the relevant team so a person can reply. That is its only purpose.
- To keep a record of an enquiry. So that if you contact us again, we are not asking you to explain everything a second time.
- To send the newsletter, only if you asked for it.
We do not use your details for any purpose other than the one you contacted us about. We do not add form submitters to a marketing list.
How long we keep it
- Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe.
- Enquiries and quote requests: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Analytics: retained by Google for 14 months.
Who else sees it
Only the people at SYSGOT who need to act on it, plus the service providers that run our infrastructure:
- Google Analytics — website statistics.
- Our email provider — to deliver and store the message that reaches us.
- Our hosting provider — which serves this website.
- OpenStreetMap — the map on our contact page is drawn from their tile servers, so opening that page sends your IP address to them. Nothing else on the site contacts them.
None of them receive your data for their own purposes.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email info@sysgot.com and we will act within 30 days. You do not need to give a reason, and asking will not affect any service we provide to you.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any issue.
Cookies
This website sets two kinds of cookie:
- Necessary — one entry that remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. It contains no personal data and never leaves your browser.
- Analytics — set by Google Analytics, as described above.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Nothing on this site breaks if you do, apart from the theme preference not being remembered.
Security
We hold enquiry data in systems protected by multi-factor authentication and least-privilege access, and we apply the same practices we recommend to customers. No system is perfect; if we ever became aware of a breach affecting your data we would tell you what happened and what we were doing about it.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date below. Material changes will be announced on the website rather than made quietly.
